Overview

The Upper Kali Gandaki River is an iconic white-water journey, slicing through one of the world’s deepest gorges between the towering Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Known for its Class IV+ rapids, the river offers a perfect mix of adrenaline-pumping waves, technical sections, and breathtaking scenery.

Starting at Nayapul/Kusma, you’ll paddle through a series of continuous rapids with names like “Big Brother” and “Small Brother,” interspersed with calmer pools ideal for catching your breath. Nights are spent on secluded beaches, with the Karnali Rafting team preparing fresh, hearty meals.

This short but intense 3-day trip is perfect for experienced rafters or adventurous beginners seeking one of Nepal’s most beautiful and challenging rafting experiences.
