The Karnali River, originating from Tibet’s holy Mount Kailash, offers untamed rapids, dramatic gorges, pristine wilderness, and authentic camping experiences.

This 4-day rafting adventure is designed for thrill-seekers and nature lovers who want to explore the untouched beauty of western Nepal while navigating challenging rapids. The journey begins with a scenic flight to Surkhet, followed by an overland drive to Tallo Dungeswer, the rafting put-in point. From here, the mighty Karnali reveals its wonders—scenic beaches, turquoise water, lush subtropical forests, and exhilarating Class III–IV rapids.

  • Morning flight to Surkhet (approx. 1 hour).
  • Drive to Tallo Dungeswer.
  • Lunch at Tallo Dungeswer.
  • Begin rafting adventure from Tallo Dungeswer to Scorpion Beach.
  • Camp overnight at scenic Scorpion Beach.
  • Rafting through thrilling Class III–IV rapids towards God House.
  • Continue rafting, navigating beautiful gorges and sandy beaches.
  • Overnight camping between God House and Seti-Karnali Confluence.
  • Paddle through powerful waves and rapids towards Tamcha.
  • Immersion in pristine wilderness.
  • Riverside camping at Tamcha.
  • Final stretch rafting from Tamcha to Bheri-Solta (near Bheri-Karnali Confluence).
  • Pickup and drive to Chisapani (1 hour).
  • Lunch in Chisapani.
