The Seti Karnali Rafting Expedition – 8 Days is a thrilling, condensed version of our classic 11-day adventure, designed for travelers with limited time but a big appetite for adventure. Operated by Karnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd., this trip takes you through the most scenic and action-packed stretches of the Seti and Karnali rivers without the longer upstream sections.
You’ll experience intense Class III–IV rapids, serene jungle corridors, and white-sand beach camping in a journey that blends adrenaline and tranquility. The expedition still covers the legendary Seti–Karnali confluence and the wild Karnali River finale, ensuring you don’t miss the most iconic highlights.
By reducing some of the early, gentler sections, this itinerary focuses on maximum adventure per day while keeping comfort, safety, and cultural richness intact. Perfect for paddlers who want quality over quantity without compromising the wild river experience.
Morning scenic flight to Dhangadhi (~1 hr 10 min) followed by a private jeep ride to Dipayal (~4.5 hrs). Meet your guides, check rafting gear, and receive a safety briefing. Overnight at lodge or camp. (Meals: L, D)
Start rafting on the Seti Karnali with warm-up Class III rapids and scenic canyons. Stop for riverside lunch. Evening special BBQ dinner at seti-budhiganga confluence camp. (Meals: B, L, D)
Tackle thrilling rapids and navigate beautiful jungle corridors. Arrive at one of the most stunning sandy beaches for camping. (Meals: B, L, D)
Paddle through technical sections before reaching the iconic Lode . Camp at riverside with dramatic views. (Meals: B, L, D)
Begin rafting the Karnali River, with large, rolling Class III–IV waves. Wildlife sightings possible along the banks. Camp at Thuligadh. (Meals: B, L, D)
Final big-water day with exhilarating rapids. Lunch en route, then reach Tamcha for the camp or optional lodge stay. (Meals: B, L, D)
Drive through scenic Terai landscapes to Ghatgaun. Overnight in a camp, relax, and explore the confluence. (Meals: B, L)
