Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative of Karnali Rafting will meet you and transfer you to a hotel in Thamel — Kathmandu’s vibrant tourist hub.
In the evening, a trip briefing will be held to discuss expedition details, fishing regulations, rafting safety, and gear checks.

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu's famous cultural landmarks:
Later in the afternoon, fly to Nepalgunj, a bustling city on Nepal's western plains.
Upon arrival, transfer to a nearby hotel for overnight rest.
Overnight in Nepalgunj.
Early morning drive (2–3 hours) from Nepalgunj to Chepang, the starting point of the Babai River expedition.
After gear unloading and a hearty riverside lunch, begin a short rafting session and first fishing experience in the Babai’s crystal waters.
Set up Camp 1 along a beautiful sandy riverbank, surrounded by virgin forest.
Overnight in tented camp.
For the next four days, you’ll live the true river life.
After a final morning fishing session, raft and paddle out of the wilderness.
Drive to Thakurdwara, located next to Bardiya National Park.
In the afternoon, visit a traditional Tharu village to experience their culture, dances, and way of life.
Overnight at a jungle lodge near Bardiya National Park.
Early morning, drive to Nepalgunj and board a flight back to Kathmandu.
Upon arrival, you’ll have time for last-minute shopping or relaxing in Thamel.
Depending on your international flight schedule, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for final departure.
