Overview

Known as Nepal’s most exciting short white-water river, the Marshyangdi River offers an intense 3-day rafting adventure in the heart of Lamjung District. This river drops rapidly from the Annapurna region, creating steep, technical rapids that challenge even seasoned paddlers.

Starting at Nadi Sahar, you’ll immediately be greeted by powerful Class IV–V rapids, tight chutes, and thrilling drops. Between adrenaline-pumping sections, you’ll enjoy spectacular scenery — terraced fields, suspension bridges, and glimpses of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges. Nights are spent camping on sandy beaches or grassy riverbanks, with delicious meals cooked fresh by the Karnali Rafting team.

This trip is designed for experienced rafters or adventurous beginners ready for a challenge. With Karnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd., you can expect top safety standards, expert guides, and a memorable ride on one of Nepal’s steepest rivers.

Important Note

  • Previous rafting experience is recommended for Class IV–V.
