Overview

The Tamor River in Eastern Nepal is a spectacular blend of Himalayan trekking and adrenaline-pumping white-water rafting. This 8-day expedition begins with a short domestic flight to Biratnagar, followed by a scenic drive to Basantapur and a short trek to Dobhan – the starting point of your rafting journey. The Tamor offers over 120 km of thrilling Class IV–V rapids, breathtaking Himalayan panoramas, and serene beach camps.
In just over a week, you’ll experience the raw beauty of Eastern Nepal’s landscapes, the rich culture of local communities, and the unmatched thrill of conquering one of the world’s best rafting rivers.

Kathmandu to Biratnagar Flight, Drive to Basantapur

First day on the river with continuous Class IV rapids. Camp by the river.
