The Lower Kali Gandaki River is the perfect long-distance rafting journey for those seeking a multi-day adventure without extreme technical difficulty. Flowing from the Himalayas toward the Terai plains, this section offers continuous Class III rapids — exciting yet safe for first-timers, families, and mixed-skill groups.
Starting from Ramdi, the 6 days on the river take you through rural villages, forested hills, sandy beaches, and wide-open valleys. The river meanders gently at times, allowing moments of relaxation, swimming, and photography, but also features fun wave trains and splashy rapids to keep the adrenaline flowing.
Camping each night beside the river under starlit skies is one of the highlights of the journey. The Karnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd. crew prepares delicious fresh meals daily, ensuring you’re energized and comfortable throughout the trip.
The journey concludes in Narayanghat, a gateway to Chitwan National Park — giving you the perfect opportunity to extend your adventure with a jungle safari, or head back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
