TheLower Kali Gandaki Riveris the perfect long-distance rafting journey for those seeking a multi-day adventure without extreme technical difficulty. Flowing from the Himalayas toward the Terai plains, this section offerscontinuous Class III rapids— exciting yet safe for first-timers, families, and mixed-skill groups.

Starting fromRamdi, the 6 days on the river take you through rural villages, forested hills, sandy beaches, and wide-open valleys. The river meanders gently at times, allowing moments of relaxation, swimming, and photography, but also features fun wave trains and splashy rapids to keep the adrenaline flowing.

Camping each night beside the river under starlit skies is one of the highlights of the journey. TheKarnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd.crew prepares delicious fresh meals daily, ensuring you’re energized and comfortable throughout the trip.

The journey concludes inNarayanghat, a gateway toChitwan National Park— giving you the perfect opportunity to extend your adventure with a jungle safari, or head back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Trip Itinerary

Morning drive from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Ramdi. Safety briefing and gear check. Begin rafting with introductory Class III rapids. Camp on a sandy riverbank.

Steady paddling through rural landscapes and wave trains. Picnic lunch by the river. Camp under the stars.

Scenic rafting day with forested hillsides and wildlife sightings. Evening campfire.

Pass through local villages, interact with residents, and enjoy calm water stretches. Overnight riverside camping.

Splashy rapids mixed with swimming opportunities. Camp at a scenic beach.

Long paddle day with multiple rapids and scenic viewpoints. Celebrate with a special dinner.
