Overview

The Bheri River Fishing Expedition – 11 Days is a one-of-a-kind adventure for anglers seeking the thrill of fishing in one of Nepal’s most remote and untouched rivers. Flowing through the wild and rugged landscapes of western Nepal, the Bheri River is famous for its Golden Mahseer, Goonch Catfish, and Snow Trout.

Unlike mainstream fishing destinations, the Bheri offers raw wilderness, pristine waters, and zero crowding. Over 11 days, you’ll explore multiple fishing stretches, guided by experts who know the river’s hidden pools and migratory fish patterns. The journey includes catch-and-release Mahseer angling, riverside camping under starry skies, and unforgettable cultural encounters with Magar and Tharu villagers.

Beyond fishing, this expedition is about immersion into pure nature. Each day brings a new stretch of river, a new fishing challenge, and evenings around a campfire barbecue, sharing stories with fellow anglers. If you’ve ever dreamed of battling the mighty Mahseer in its Himalayan habitat, this expedition offers the ultimate fishing holiday in Nepal.

Important Note

  • This is a catch-and-release fishing expedition to conserve Golden Mahseer and other native species.
  • Requires basic physical fitness for fishing, camping, and travel.
  • Anglers must bring their own personal fishing gear (limited rental available on request).
