You’ll enjoy one full day and one partial day of fishing, targeting Golden Mahseer and Goonch Catfish in the most productive spots reachable within a short rafting distance from Rakam. Perfect for weekend anglers, short-holiday travelers, or locals who love fishing.
Even in this express format, you’ll still get professional guiding, rafting access, and riverside camping.
Catch-and-release only – All fish released unharmed.
Fishing styles – Spinning, baitcasting, bottom fishing; limited fly fishing possible.
Best suited for – Local anglers or those flying into Surkhet/Nepalgunj.
Best seasons – Oct–Nov and Mar–May.

Meet our crew in Surkhet (self-arrival or fly from Kathmandu). Drive to Rakam, safety briefing, short warm-up raft, and late afternoon fishing session. Overnight riverside camping.
