Overview

The 8-Day Karnali River Fishing & Rafting Expedition is a unique wilderness adventure that combines world-class whitewater rafting with catch-and-release fishing for Golden Mahseer and Goonch. The Karnali River, Nepal’s longest and most pristine river, flows through remote valleys, jungle gorges, and untouched sandy beaches—making it one of the best fishing and rafting destinations in Asia.

This expedition begins with a short flight from Kathmandu to Surkhet, followed by an overland jeep ride to the rafting put-in point at Tallo Dungeswor. From there, you’ll spend eight unforgettable days rafting through Class II–IV rapids, fishing in calm pools, and camping on remote beaches. Along the way, you’ll explore hidden channels, prime fishing stretches, local villages, and jungle wildlife habitats.

Every day offers a balance of rafting thrills and fishing experiences, with evenings spent around riverside campfires under starry Himalayan skies. By the time you reach Chisapani, you’ll have experienced the true spirit of adventure, culture, and nature conservation. A scenic drive to Nepalgunj and a return flight to Kathmandu completes your round trip.

This package is perfect for anglers, adventure seekers, and nature lovers looking to experience Nepal’s last untamed river in style, comfort, and safety.
