Overview

The Bheri River Rafting Expedition is one of Nepal’s most thrilling yet remote multi-day rafting journeys, offering a perfect blend of adventure, wilderness, and cultural immersion. This 9-day expedition takes you through pristine valleys of Jajarkot, Rukum, and Salyan before flowing into Bardiya and ending at Chisapani, the gateway to the Karnali corridor.

Operated by Karnali Rafting and Adventure Pvt. Ltd., this trip is designed for adventure seekers who wish to explore untouched river corridors, paddle through exciting Class III–IV rapids, and enjoy nights under the stars on untouched sandy beaches. Along the journey, you’ll pass remote villages, encounter authentic culture, and witness the natural confluence of rivers.

Unlike short rafting trips, the Bheri expedition provides an extended wilderness adventure, away from crowded trails—making it one of Nepal’s hidden gems in adventure tourism.

Important Note

  • Previous rafting experience is not mandatory, but participants should be reasonably fit.
  • Expedition involves wilderness camping with no fixed facilities.
  • Safety gear (helmets, life jackets, paddles) will be provided.

  • Drive through Jajarkot/Rukum to Rimna Bazar, the rafting put-in point.
  • Camp setup and rafting preparation.

  • Riverside camping at Kale Gaun.
  • Continue rafting along scenic river valleys.
  • Camp near Chaurjahari.
