Nepal is home to some of the world’s most formidable freshwater species, including the iconic Golden Mahseer and the elusive Goonch catfish. Our expedition is meticulously curated to provide maximum catch probability, focusing on high-density Mahseer pools, deep canyon runs, and strong current zones that are known hotspots for trophy-sized fish. Over the course of 8 days, participants will experience five full days on the river, strategically navigating from Dipayal’s fast-entry sections to the Karnali’s deep, powerful pools where Mahseer exceeding 30 kg can be found.

Your adventure begins in the vibrant capital city of Nepal. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Karnali Rafting and Adventure Pvt. Ltd. will greet you and escort you to your hotel. After settling in, you will attend a comprehensive trip briefing, where our expert guides will review the expedition schedule, discuss river conditions, fishing techniques, and safety protocols.

After an early breakfast, you’ll take a domestic flight to Dhangadhi, followed by a scenic drive to Dipayal, the put-in point of the Seti River. Along the way, you’ll witness the lush river valleys and Himalayan foothills that make this region a paradise for freshwater species.
Upon arrival at Camp A, you will participate in a short warm-up fishing session in the nearby pools. This session allows anglers to adjust to local river conditions, test gear, and begin familiarizing themselves with Mahseer behavior.
