Overview
The Seti Karnali Rafting Expedition – 9 Days is a shorter but equally thrilling version of our classic adventure, designed for those who want to experience the raw wilderness of far-western Nepal in under 10 days. Operated by Karnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd., this expedition packs challenging rapids, untouched river landscapes, and cultural immersion into a more compact schedule.
You’ll raft through remote jungle corridors, camp on pristine river beaches, and navigate some of the most exciting Class III–IV rapids in the country. The trip still includes the famous Seti–Karnali confluence and the wild Karnali section before ending in Chisapani.
Trip Preparation
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Kathmandu → Dhangadhi (Flight) → Dipayal (Jeep)
Morning flight to Dhangadhi, jeep transfer to Dipayal. Safety briefing and gear check. Overnight lodge/camp. (Meals: L, D)
Day 2 : Dipayal → Naridang Village
First paddling day with Class II–III rapids. Camp at Naridang. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 3 : Naridang → Maharudra (Seti & Budhiganga Confluence)
Exciting Class III+ rapids ending at scenic confluence. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 4 : Maharudra → Lode Khola
Remote big-wave rafting. Special riverside BBQ night. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 5 : Lode Khola → Scorpion Beach
Paddle to one of the most beautiful sandy beach camps. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 6 : Scorpion Beach → Benighat (Seti & Karnali Confluence)
Arrive at iconic river junction. Camp nearby. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 7 : Benighat → Tamcha
Raft through wildlife-rich jungle corridors in the Karnali section. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 8 : Tamcha → Chisapani
Final rafting stretch, farewell lunch by the river, jeep to Nepalgunj. Overnight hotel. (Meals: B, L)
Day 9 : Nepalgunj → Kathmandu (Flight)
Morning flight to Kathmandu. Trip ends. (Meals: B)
