The Seti Karnali Rafting Expedition – 5 Days is designed for travelers who want an intense white-water adventure without a long-time commitment. Operated by Karnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd., this expedition focuses on the heart of the river journey, starting close to the action so you maximize every hour on the water.
You’ll raft through Class III–IV rapids, pass untouched jungle cliffs, camp on white-sand beaches, and explore the legendary Seti–Karnali confluence. The trip finishes in the mighty Karnali River section, where the rapids are powerful yet safe, giving you an exhilarating finale before heading back to Kathmandu.
This package is ideal for week-long vacations or as part of a larger Nepal adventure itinerary.
Trip Preparation
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Kathmandu → Dhangadhi (Flight) → Dipayal (Jeep)
Morning scenic flight to Dhangadhi, then private jeep transfer to the rafting starting point. Brief safety orientation, then start paddling. Arrive at Scorpion Beach for overnight camp. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 2 : Dipayal → (Seti & Budhiganga Confluence)
Raft through fun Class III–IV rapids before reaching the iconic Seti–budhi ganga confluence. Camp near the junction for the night. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 3 : Seti & Budhiganga Confluence- Benighat ( seti-karnali confluence)
Big-water rafting day with long wave trains on the Karnali River. Wildlife spotting possible along the way. Overnight camp at Benighat ( seti-karnali confluence) (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 4 : Benighat ( seti-karnali confluence)→ Tamcha
Final day of paddling with a mix of exciting rapids and calm scenic floats. Enjoy a farewell BBQ dinner by the riverside. (Meals: B, L, D)
Day 5 : Tamcha – solta than drive to Chisapani → Nepalgunj (Jeep) → Kathmandu (Flight)
Drive to Nepalgunj, then take an afternoon flight back to Kathmandu. Trip ends. (Meals: B)
