Overview
The Seti Karnali Fishing Expedition is a private wilderness adventure designed for passionate anglers and nature lovers. In just 4 days, experience thrilling Mahseer & Goonch fishing in the pristine waters of Seti and Karnali Rivers. Enjoy comfortable riverside camping, local cuisine, and mild rafting, all under the guidance of professional fishing experts.
The journey starts with a flight to Dhanghadi and a scenic drive to Bogtaan. From there, fish the confluences, float through jungle corridors, and camp under the stars. Spot wildlife like otters, kingfishers, and tropical birds, and top it off with a chicken BBQ night. Return via Nepalgunj and fly back to Kathmandu with memories of Nepal’s hidden rivers.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Kathmandu → Dhanghadi → Bogtaan (Seti & Budhiganga Confluence)
• Morning flight to Dhanghadi (1 hrs 10 min)
• Private 4WD jeep to Boktaan (~6-7 hrs)
• Equipment check and safety briefing
• Light fishing in the evening
• Overnight riverside camping at Seti & Karnali River confluence
Day 2 : Seti & Budhiganga Confluence ( Maharudra) → Seti & Karnali River confluence (Benighat)
• Early morning Mahseer & Goonch fishing
• Explore best fishing pools near Benighat
• Scenic jungle surroundings and wildlife spotting
• Local chicken BBQ dinner
• Overnight camping in Benighat Beach
Day 3 : Benighat → Tamcha
• Morning fishing and rafting towards Ghatgaun
• Prime Mahseer spots in deep pools
• Wildlife watching during float
• Final riverside camp at Tamcha
Day 4 : Tamcha → Solta → Nepalgunj → Kathmandu
• Final fishing session in the early morning
• Raft to Solta and enjoy riverside lunch
