Organized by Karnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd., this trip blends professional rafting safety, eco-friendly camping, and expert fishing guidance to create the ultimate adventure. From the first paddle stroke at Gopghat to the confluence at Chisapani, every day of this expedition brings new challenges, fishing opportunities, and breathtaking Himalayan scenery.

Trip Preparation

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu – Dhangadhi – Gopghat – Dipayal

Morning 1 hr 10 min flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi, followed by a 5-hour scenic drive to Gopghat. This is the starting point of the fishing and rafting adventure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Dipayal.

Day 2 : Dipayal – Naridang

Rafting and fishing downstream to Naridang. Riverside camp overnight. 

Day 3 : Naridang – Devistan

Continue rafting through gorgeous river gorges, with fishing breaks. Riverside camping at Devistan.

Day 4 : Devistan – Budhiganga & Seti Confluence

Two adventurous days of rafting and fishing at the Budhiganga–Seti River Confluence, one of the prime angling spots in Nepal. Two-night riverside camping.

Day 5 : Full-Day Fishing at the Confluence of the Budhiganga and Seti Rivers

Unwind by the peaceful riverside and soak in the natural beauty of Nepal’s pristine landscapes. Spend your day exploring the local surroundings, where quiet trails and village life offer a glimpse into authentic culture. Enjoy short fishing sessions at your leisure, casting into clear waters at your own pace. As evening falls, settle into a cozy riverside campsite, complete with the soothing sounds of flowing water and a star-filled sky overhead.

Day 6 : Budhiganga/Seti Confluence – Male Bhir

Rafting through dramatic cliffs and challenging rapids, with fishing en route. Overnight camping at Male Bhir.

Day 7 : Male Bhir Village – Lode & Seti Confluence

Fishing expedition continues downstream to Lode river and seti confluence. Riverside camping overnight.

Day 8 : Lode – Scorpion Beach

Fishing and rafting to the famous Scorpion Beach, an iconic camping location along Seti River.

Day 9 : Scorpion Beach – Seti & Karnali Confluence

Arrival at the Seti–Karnali Confluence (Dobhan), a world-class fishing spot known for Golden Mahseer and freshwater species. Riverside camping overnight.

Day 10 : Seti & Karnali Confluence – Thuligadh & Karnali Confluence

Rafting and fishing downstream to Thuligadh, camping on a sandy riverbank.

Day 11 : Thuligadh Confluence – Tamcha

Continue rafting through remote wilderness landscapes, enjoying fishing breaks. Camp at Tamcha.

Day 12 : Tamcha – Bheri/Karnali Confluence

Rafting and fishing to Jamune, then onward to the Bheri–Karnali Confluence. This is the final camping night of the expedition.

Day 13 : Bheri/Karnali Confluence - Chisapani – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu

Conclude the expedition at Chisapani (Karnali). Drive to Nepalgunj, then take a flight back to Kathmandu.
