Overview
The Sani Bheri River is one of Western Nepal’s most beautiful and untouched rafting destinations, offering the perfect blend of excitement, culture, and natural beauty. Flowing from the high hills of Rukum, this river journey takes you through lush valleys, pristine forests, and traditional villages.
Starting from Rukumkot, the 3 days on the river feature Class III rapids — fun and splashy, yet safe for first-time rafters and families. Between rapids, the calmer sections allow for swimming, fishing, and simply soaking in the wilderness.
With Karnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd., you’ll enjoy professional guiding, top-quality equipment, and delicious camp meals under the stars. The trip ends at Rimna, with onward connections available to Kathmandu or Nepalgunj.
Trip Preparation
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Kathmandu/Nepalgunj to Rukumkot
Scenic drive through hills and valleys to the put-in point. Gear check, overnight camp near Rukumkot.
Day 2 : Raft Rukumkot to First Riverside Camp
Safety briefing and paddle training. Start rafting with Class III rapids, sandy beach camp.
Day 3 : Full Day Rafting
Fun rapids mixed with calm stretches for swimming and relaxing. Campfire dinner by the river.
Day 4 : Final Rapids to Rimna
Last set of rapids before take-out. Farewell lunch, drive to Nepalgunj or Kathmandu.
Day 5 : Departure
Return journey from Nepalgunj/Kathmandu or continue your Nepal adventure.
