Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Nepalgunj or Surkhet
Flight: Arrive in Nepalgunj or Surkhet by a 1-hour domestic flight from Kathmandu.
Drive: Transfer by car to Devasthal, a 3-4 hour drive.
Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Devasthal for rest.
Day 2 : Rafting to Pabitra Bajar
Rafting: Begin your rafting adventure towards Pabitra Bajar. Expect some Class III-IV rapids and stunning riverside views.
Overnight: Camp or stay at a riverside lodge.
Day 3 : Rafting to Bheri Bridge
Rafting: Continue rafting towards Bheri Bridge, navigating through more rapids and experiencing the river’s diverse challenges.
Overnight: Camp at a suitable riverside spot.
Day 4 : Rafting to Ranighat
Rafting: Raft through the powerful sections towards Ranighat, another scenic stretch of the river.
Overnight: Camp at Ranighat or nearby.
Day 5 : Rafting to Taranga
Rafting: Move downstream to Taranga, experiencing thrilling rapids and beautiful landscapes.
Overnight: Set up camp for the night near Taranga.
Day 6 : Rafting to Bheri and Karnali Confluence
Rafting: Continue rafting towards the confluence of Bheri and Karnali rivers, a key highlight of the trip.
Overnight: Camp near the confluence.
Day 7 : Rest and Exploration
Rest and Exploration: Take a well-deserved rest day to relax, explore the surrounding area, or engage in other activities like fishing or hiking.
Day 8 : Rafting to Chisapani – Return to Kathmandu
Rafting: Complete the final leg of the rafting trip, heading towards Chisapani.
Drive: After rafting, drive for about 2 hours to either Bardiya or Nepalgunj.
Flight: Catch your return flight to Kathmandu.
