The Thuli Bheri & Bheri–Karnali Confluence Rafting Expedition is one of Nepal’s most exhilarating multi-day rafting journeys, designed for adventurers who seek remote wilderness, world-class white-water rapids, cultural encounters, and breathtaking landscapes. Over 12 thrilling days, you will paddle through the pristine rivers of Jajarkot, Rukum, Salyan, and Bardiya before joining the mighty Karnali River.
Operated by Karnali Rafting and Adventure Pvt. Ltd., this expedition blends adrenaline-filled Class III–IV rapids with serene river corridors, jungle wildlife, and unique riverside camping. From the dramatic confluence of Nalgadh to the pristine beauty of Chisapani, the journey takes you through some of Nepal’s least explored yet most rewarding river valleys.

Trip Preparation
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu- Flight to Nepalgunj – Drive to Jajarkot (Khalanga)
- Meet at Nepalgunj Airport.
- Scenic drive to Jajarkot Khalanga Bazar.around (6 to 7 Hours)
- Overnight at hotel/guesthouse.
Day 2 : Jajarkot – Radi Bazar (Rukum West)
- Drive to Radi Bazar, beside the Bheri River.
- Set up camp at Maite.
- Overnight riverside camping.
Day 3 : Rafting – Radi → Nalgadh (Thuli Bheri Confluence at Dali Bazar)
- Begin rafting on the Thuli Bheri.
- Float through thrilling rapids towards Dali Bazar, where Nalgadh River joins Thuli Bheri.
- Riverside camping.
Day 4 : Rimna Bazar & Sanibheri Confluence (Muglu – Musikot)
- Short drive to Rimna Bazar.
- Staff and clients regroup.
- Rafting through Muglu, reaching the Sanibheri–Thuli Bheri confluence near Musikot Khalanga.
- Continue rafting to Rimna Bazar (Jajarkot–Rukum border).
- Camp by the confluence.
Day 5 : Rimna → Kale Gaun
- Raft full day through technical rapids and calm stretches.
- Camp at Kale Gaun.
Day 6 : Kale Gaun → Chaurjahari
- Paddle through stunning river corridors.
- Overnight at Chaurjahari.
Day 7 : Chaurjahari → Devasthal (Salyan)
- Rafting into Salyan district.
- Riverside camping at Devasthal.
Day 8 : Devasthal → Mehalkuna
- Continue rafting through mixed rapids and quiet pools.
- Camp at Mehalkuna.
Day 9 : Mehalkuna → Ranighat
- Paddle through remote villages and gorges.
- Overnight camping at Ranighat.
Day 10 : Ranighat → Tallo Taranga
- Raft through exciting Class III–IV rapids.
- Camp at Tallo Taranga beach.
Day 11 : Tallo Taranga → Bheri–Karnali Confluence
- Raft to the confluence of Bheri & Karnali Rivers.
- Riverside camping near the junction.
Day 12 : Karnali Confluence → Chisapani – Drive to Nepalgunj – Fly to Kathmandu
- Early morning rafting to Chisapani (take-out point).
- Lunch at hotel in Chisapani.
- Drive 2 hrs 15 min via Bardiya National Park to Nepalgunj Airport.
- Evening flight to Kathmandu (1 hr).
- Transfer to hotel in Thamel.
- Farewell dinner with cultural program.
- Overnight at tourist-standard hotel.
