The Bheri River Fishing Trip – 3 Days by Karnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd. is a compact yet exciting journey designed for anglers and adventurers who want to experience the thrill of fishing Nepal’s western rivers within a short time frame.
Starting from Kathmandu with a scenic flight to Surkhet, you’ll immediately hit the waters at Samajhi Ghat on Day 1, making the most of your time. The river offers excellent fishing opportunities for Golden Mahseer and Goonch Catfish, with chances of spotting Snow Trout in calm pools.
The journey combines rafting through Class II–III rapids with dedicated fishing sessions at Samajhi Ghat, Ranighat, and Jamu. Nights are spent camping by the riverside with warm campfires, BBQ dinners, and local hospitality. With professional fishing guides, rafting crew, and full safety support, this trip is ideal for those who want a short adventure loaded with action, wilderness, and cultural beauty.

Day 1 : Kathmandu → Surkhet → Samajhi Ghat → Ranighat
- Drive (~1–1.5 hrs) to Samajhi Ghat, the fishing put-in point.
- Begin fishing the same day at Samajhi Ghat pools and calm river stretches.
- Lunch on riverbank during the drift.
- Raft and fish downstream to Ranighat, stopping at prime pools for casting or wade fishing.
- Evening fishing session at Ranighat.
- Riverside BBQ dinner and campfire.
- Overnight: Riverside Camp, Ranighat
Day 2 : Ranighat → Jamu
- Early morning fishing session at Ranighat pools.
- Raft downstream through calm stretches and moderate rapids (Class II–III) to Jamu confluence.
- Lunch on riverbank during the drift.
- Evening fishing session at Jamu, high chance for large Mahseer.
- Riverside BBQ/farewell dinner with the crew.
- Overnight: Riverside Camp, Jamu
Day 3 : Jamu → Chisapani → Nepalgunj → Kathmandu
- Early morning fishing session at Jamu.
- After breakfast, 4 hrs rafting to Chisapani take-out point.
- Riverside lunch at Chisapani.
- Drive (~4 hrs) to Nepalgunj Airport.
- Evening flight (1 hr) back to Kathmandu.
- Trip ends – transfer to hotel or onward departure.
