The Bheri River Fishing Trip – 2 Days is a specially designed short adventure by Karnali Rafting & Adventure Pvt. Ltd., perfect for fishing enthusiasts and nature lovers who wish to experience the thrill of Golden Mahseer and Goonch Catfish fishing within a short timeframe.

Starting from Kathmandu with a scenic flight to Nepalgunj, the journey continues with a jeep transfer to Jamu, one of the prime fishing put-in points on the Bheri River. Here, the adventure begins with immediate fishing opportunities in calm pools and rapids, guided by experienced local experts who know the river intimately.

The expedition combines the excitement of targeted fishing sessions with gentle rafting drifts through stunning gorges and remote landscapes. Camping by the riverside with BBQ dinners, campfires, and starlit skies adds to the authentic wilderness experience.

This trip is ideal for travelers with limited time but a big appetite for adventure, offering a perfect balance of angling, rafting, camping, and natural beauty in just two days.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu → Nepalgunj → Jamu

Morning:
Take a flight (~1 hr) from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj.
Drive (~2–3 hrs) from Nepalgunj to Jamu, the fishing put-in point.
Fishing & Rafting:
Begin fishing immediately at Jamu pools, targeting Golden Mahseer and Goonch Catfish.
Optional short rafting drift along calm stretches while fishing.
Lunch:
Riverside lunch on the riverbank.
Evening:
Continue fishing at prime Jamu pools.
Riverside BBQ dinner and campfire.
Overnight:
Riverside Camp, Jamu, with tents and sleeping mats provided.

Day 2 : Jamu → Chisapani → Nepalgunj → Kathmandu

Morning:
Early morning fishing session at Jamu pools.
Target large Mahseer and Goonch in the prime angling spots.
Rafting:
After breakfast, raft downstream (~4 hrs) to Chisapani take-out point.
Enjoy calm pools and scenic gorges along the way.
Lunch:
Riverside lunch at Chisapani.
