Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu.
Welcome by a representative from Karnali Rafting and Adventure Pvt. Ltd.
Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu for check-in and rest.
If time permits, enjoy a guided tour of Kathmandu’s cultural sites.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2 : Full-Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu.
Visit key historical and religious sites:
- Kathmandu Durbar Square,
- Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple),
- Pashupatinath Temple,
- Boudhanath Stupa.
Evening free for last-minute shopping or relaxing.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3 : Fly to Nepalgunj – Drive to Babai River – Start Fishing
Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (approx. 50-minute scenic flight).
Upon arrival, drive for 2 hours to reach the Babai River base camp at Chepang.
After a briefing from your fishing guides, enjoy lunch at the riverside camp.
Start fishing for Golden Mahseer and Goonch Catfish.
Evening fishing along the riverbanks.
Overnight in camp.
Day 4 : Full-Day Fishing and Rafting to Camp 2
Begin your day early with morning fishing.
After breakfast, embark on a rafting adventure down the river, exploring new fishing spots.
As you raft, enjoy the surrounding wilderness and the chance to spot wildlife like deer, rhinos, and birds.
Continue rafting and fishing until reaching Camp 2 for a well-deserved break.
Enjoy an evening of fishing and relax by the campfire.
Overnight in Camp 2.
Day 5 : Rafting and Fishing to Camp 3
Another early morning fishing session before breakfast.
After breakfast, raft down the Babai River towards Camp 3, passing through dense forest areas.
During the rafting, continue fishing and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings.
Lunch by the riverbank, followed by more fishing.
Reach Camp 3 by the evening.
Overnight in Camp 3.
Day 6 : Rafting, Fishing, and Wildlife Exploration
Full-day rafting and fishing down the river.
After reaching the exit point, spend some time exploring the wildlife and surroundings.
Enjoy a guided wildlife walk in Bardiya National Park, where you may encounter elephants, rhinos, and more.
Optionally, visit local Tharu villages and experience their unique culture and traditions.
Overnight in Camp 3.
Day 7 : Return to Nepalgunj – Fly Back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, raft your way to the Babai Bridge (exit point).
Drive back to Nepalgunj for your flight to Kathmandu.
Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Evening free for shopping, relaxing, or exploring.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
