Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Nepalgunj – Drive to Babai River – First Fishing Session
Arrival at Nepalgunj Airport (or overland transfer depending on your preference).
Meet with Karnali Rafting’s crew and drive to Chepang, the starting point near the Babai River (approx. 2–3 hrs).
After a quick lunch, start fishing immediately at a nearby productive spot.
Set up your first riverside camp surrounded by deep forests.
Overnight in tented camp.
Day 2 : Full Days of Fishing and Rafting along Babai River
Each day unfolds with a rhythm of pure adventure:
- Morning and afternoon fishing sessions in prime spots.
- Rafting between different stretches to access isolated fishing pools.
- Changing campsites daily, exploring new untouched wilderness each evening.
- Your professional fishing guide will assist in scouting locations, tackle setup, and landing the catch.

Visit a traditional Tharu village, learn about their farming traditions, mud houses, and beautiful cultural dances.
Overnight at a jungle lodge.
Day 6 : Departure from Nepalgunj
Early morning, transfer to Nepalgunj Airport for your flight to Kathmandu or drive to your next destination.
